Mr. Gent asks whether, in Major Orde Brown's absence, you can add to the Labour Policy Directive a very brief indication of what other legislation should be introduced or mentioned in the Hong Kong Directive; for example, mention Trade Unions, Workmen's Compensation, Minimum Wage, Industrial Disputes. Legislation? and should any reference be made to International Labour Conventions.
